Movie Shout Outs - Favorite 80's Action...Responses

It's Movie Shout Out Sunday Time, again!

Yesterday's questions was:

What is your favorite 80's action flick?

We were quite impressed with all the movies you guys thought of. Check out the responses below!

I'll go with Conan. Conan The Barbarian (1982), that is...The Destroyer is barely a movie.

Terminator (1984)
, Die Hard (1988) & Lethal Weapon (1987). Can't think of any other at the moment. [Even Top Gun(1986) as far as action sequences are concerned]

Commando (1985)

Batman (1989)

[Woot! Movie shout from a 3 year old!]

Die Hard (1988). Yippee-ki-yay!

Conan the Barbarian (1982). Arnold and Bill Smith. The riddle of steel. Do you want to live forever? What's best in life: to see your enemies driven before you and hear the lamentation of the women. Classic.

My 8 yr old votes for Die Hard (1988) and Terminator (1984) for best action 80s flick.

Back To The Future (1985)

Lethal Weapon (1987)
is the best!

Rocky (1976). Okay, not the 80's, but I SAW it in the 80's...

I'm Gonna Git You Sucka (1988)
. "Hmmmmm, he shoulda never hit Mama."
Bob B. via Facebook

Robo Cop (1987). It has a cheese factor that makes it all that much more enjoyable. Plus that one scene with Emil and the car.
KI6ILS via twitter

Arnold’s attempt at social commentary based on a Stephen King short story. Running Man (1987).

OK, I have to go with Die Hard (1988) also. "Ho-ho-ho...Now I've got a gun."
Brigitte B. via Facebook

Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) and Back To The Future (1985). Can you tell I like my action movies to be fun?
Debbie C. via Facebook

Top Gun (1986)

I didn't see many movies in the 80's but The Princess Bride (1987) is an excellent action movie.

By far my favorite 80's Action Flick is Big Trouble In Little China (1986)

Terminator (1984)

Damn people! You ALL kinda took some of my top fave action flicks. I'm reaching just a bit here, but after everyone else's picks I was kinda surprised not to see First Blood (1982) on anyone's list. The movie that introduced us to John Rambo is actually a great action thriller. Vietnam Nam special forces vet being hunted by small town sheriffs, makes for GREAT social commentary (still resonates today in fact). Its only failing is Stallone's "monologue" at the end...
Juan from MYMHM

[Honorable mention goes to 'Predator', mentioned by several, but not picked by anyone as their fave...Ed.]

LOL!
Thanks Jeff!
We needed that.

I agree with all of these, so let me throw out an underrated one with "Cobra" - even at the time it was completely ridiculous. He chewed matchsticks, had some kind of tank-car, and cut a piece of pizza with scissors.

HELLS YEAH!
Totally underrated Stallone classic!
